HOPPERS CLUB
The Hoppers Club, situated at 180-200 Pannam Drive in Hoppers Crossing is where our Sub-Branch was established in 1997, so we regard it as our “ancestral home”.>As from 2022, this venue is again our home where we gather weekly on a Wednesday in the area which was formerly the Pool Room, towards the rear of the Club. We meet around 10.30-11am and generally socialise for an hour, then those wishing to eat order their lunch. Some members eat, others just have a drink and enjoy the camaraderie. There is a Seniors Menu or you can order from the Main Menu. We usually start departing from around 1pm.
The Club is also where we hold luncheons and special events such as VV Day and our Christmas Party, as well as other reasons for a general luncheon.
In 2005 the Hoppers Club created Sub-Clubs for the various groups who were utilising its facilities. The Vietnam Veterans group is a Sub-Club and enjoys the support of the Hoppers Club. Following two years of scattered lockdowns caused by the Covid-19 virus, the Club is finally getting back on its feet and we are looking forward to the Thursday Night raffles recommencing as these are not only a fundraising avenue for us, they are also a chance for dinner and some socialising.
Here is a link with many options so you can find us. Note they call it Hoppers Club on Pannam. Ways to get to the Hoppers Club

WERRIBEE RSL
Werribee RSL, Kelly Park, Synnot St. Werribee, put on a subsidised luncheon at 11.30 on the last Friday of each month (excluding January and December). However this does vary if it falls on Public Holidays or conflicts with other events at the club, it can be brought forward or possibly cancelled. Any variations are notified to our membership via emails or in our Newsletter if time permits. If unsure phone the club on 03 9741 5525.

The luncheon is for ex-service personnel and their partners, and as many of our members are in this category and also members of Werribee RSL, we are invited to attend. Please note that this is not the Vietnam Veterans Association’s luncheon, it is the Werribee RSL’s luncheon for those that meet the criteria.
A raffle is run during the event, 50% of profits of the raffle feed into our Social Club Account.
